The mayor of Arona, José Julián Mena, has underlined the importance of “unity between all the actors, public and private, that are part of the main sector of the economy of municipalities like ours”. He advocates “a consensus that is essential to face the new obstacles that have been opened in recent months in the face of tourism recovery with key factors such as sustainability or digitization.”
“A key market”.
The Councilor for Tourism, José Alberto Delgado, has stressed the importance of «Arona being present at this fair to focus our proposal on a national market that represents around 11% of the total for the municipality, almost 174,000 people. We want to recover them with all the conditions of health security ». He stressed that it is essential to highlight “the tourist benefits of the municipality, since Arona is a destination that has much to offer as a complementary offer to the sun and beach”.
