The Cabildo begins work on the water supply tanks and networks in Fasnia for 1.2 million euros. The island councilor for Municipal Cooperation and Housing, Zebenzuí Chinea, explains that the works will have an execution period of nine months and will make it possible to improve all of the municipality’s water storage, which, he values, “will have totally modern and future-proof mechanisms ».

Chinea and the fasniero mayor, Damián Pérez, have signed the reconsideration act that begins the action, executed by the company Canaragua Concesiones SA with a specific budget of 1,224,640 euros. This action is included in the Municipal Cooperation Plan 2018-2021 and will be financed 90 percent by the Cabildo (1,102,176 euros) and the other 10 percent by the Fasnia City Council (122,464 euros).
