CC-PNC in Tacoronte criticizes the delay of the Ministry of Public Works of the Government of the Canary Islands and Puertos Canarias to commission the environmental impact study of the El Pris fishing refuge project. The nationalists criticize that “the local government (NC-PSOE-SSP) defends Public Works and Puertos Canarios, which have taken two and a half years to contract the environmental impact study, despite the fact that they had been aware since June 2019 of the need to hire him and, as the mayor communicated to the Plenary, this was not done until just a month and a half ago».

CC-PNC managed to move forward in the last plenary session, with the abstention of the three groups that make up the government group, a motion in which they urge the Canarian Government to approve “a budget modification in the 2022 accounts to include a of at least 650,000 euros that allows the bidding for the works to begin immediately. The mayor insisted that the work will be financed when it can be put out to tender, “for which the impact study is essential.”
