SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 17 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands has decided to lower the wind alert situation in the Canary Islands to pre-alert.
However, winds from the southeast with maximum gusts of 70 km/h are still expected on the north and west slopes of the eastern islands, and wind from the south, with gusts of 70 km/h in La Palma and 80 km/h in h in El Hierro, La Gomera and Tenerife, with a special incidence in the midlands, high areas and peaks.
The Canary Islands continue this Monday in a yellow warning (risk) due to strong gusts of wind, rain and coastal phenomena.
