San Miguel de Abona transfers to the world its new image and promotion of the destination in the framework of International Tourism Fair of Madrid (Fitur), whose celebration will take place from Wednesday to Sunday at the Fairgrounds and Conference Center of the Madrid Trade Fair Institution (Ifema) in the Barajas district. with the motto San Miguel Experience, the southern municipality will promote the local offer taking advantage of the diversity that the activity is reaching in this part of the Island.

Mayor, Arthur Gonzalez, defends the need to go to Fitur at the present time because “it is a meeting point with travel agencies, tour operators, airlines and all the actors in the tourism sector”. The councilor explains that San Miguel travels “with an agenda of work meetings that will help position the municipality as a destination, we attend with the aim that this fair contributes to knowing more and better the benefits of San Miguel de Abona”.

For her part, the Councilor for Tourism, Rosa Albina Ramos, explains that San Miguel Experience “is the result of hard work that aims to focus the attention of visitors on the wide and varied range of activities we offer, from the coast to the middle , with an incomparable landscape and climatic framework and betting on gastronomy and local products”, the so-called zero kilometer.

It should be noted that, in addition to the promotion that can be carried out in Fitur, the San Miguel Consistory is betting “firmly” on improving the destination with various actions on the coast. In that line, the municipal government highlights the conditioning of the San Salvador Beach, the access to the Charco de Archiles, the improvement of the green areas and the road that connects Amarilla Golf and Golf del Sur.
