The Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the Government of the Canary Islands (CECOES 1-1-2) and the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife reported in the early hours of this Monday about a collision between a passenger car and a fuel transport vehicle in the highway of the South (TF-1) and in direction exit of the municipality, at the height of Añaza. Two people were slightly injured in this accident.
The police warned that there was a fuel spill on the road and noted that retentions were being maintained, so it was necessary to divert traffic, “to facilitate the work of emergency and security resources in the area,” they concluded.
Members of the Civil Guard, health workers from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), the Tenerife Highway Service and agents from the Fire Department were also present at the scene.
