SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 14 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Izquierda Unida Canaria (IUC) affirms this Friday that the autonomous senator of the PP, Asier Antona, was looking for a “minute of glory” by calling the Minister of Consumption, Alberto Garzón, “pollaboba”, because he is “desperate” due to his current situation in the match.
The left-wing coalition points out in a note that Antona’s statements have been made “in a premeditated and calculated way” to “be noticed” by the sectors of the “most stale” right, which have been throwing themselves into the mountains for a long time.
In addition, they understand that Antona “has not understood anything about the convenient commitment to extensive livestock, but the worst thing is that she has not understood anything about the appropriate education and the necessary forms to use in public and political activity.”
Thus, they indicate that their demonstrations “are qualified by themselves” and are not “an error” resulting from the “roar” of a political debate.
“This is no longer about political ideas, this goes much further. Crossing the lines that Mr. Antona crosses only leads to increasing tension in the environment. Anyone with a minimum sense of respect and education understands perfectly that Antona must reflect , apologize and correct their behavior,” they say.
