The Cabildo has opened the registration – until next February 10 – for two free French courses for unemployed people. The insular counselor for Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, Carmen Luz Baso, explains that the program, accredited by the French Alliance, includes 60 places and transport scholarships for beneficiaries.
The Minister of Foreign Action, Liskel Álvarez, assures, for her part, that the training “will facilitate job placement and will provide new opportunities within and outside our borders, especially on the African continent.”
The sixty places are divided into thirty for each level (A2 and B1). The face-to-face courses will be held in Santa Cruz in mid-March. They are managed by the Insular Foundation for Training, Employment and Business Development (FIFEDE). They include 100 and 200 teaching hours, in A2 and B1, respectively.
