Four women were affected by smoke inhalation after the fire that took place this Friday in a house on Calle Miraflores in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, according to the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
In this sense, firefighters from the Consortium were in charge of extinguishing the fire, ventilated the building and rescued six people spread over different homes in the building.
For its part, the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assisted three women aged 47, 57 and 76 who presented burns on their hands and moderate smoke inhalation poisoning the first and moderate smoke inhalation poisoning the other two, being transferred in an ambulance to a hospital.
Similarly, they treated a fourth woman for mild respiratory problems without requiring her to be transferred to the hospital.
Finally, the Local Police enabled firefighters access to the scene of the incident and secured the intervention area.
