SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan 6 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The State Meteorological Agency has activated the yellow warning (risk) in the Canary Islands for adverse coastal phenomena, a warning that will be in force this Friday and Saturday, as reported by Aemet on its website.
This Friday there will be a yellow warning for force 7 northeast wind in the southeast of Tenerife, at intervals in the northwest and southeast of La Palma, north of El Hierro and northwest of La Gomera, and for intervals of force 7 northeast wind in Gran Canaria .
On Saturday the yellow warning will be extended to the island of Lanzarote and a combined sea of 4 meters from the north is expected on the north coasts of Tenerife and Lanzarote, and northeast of La Palma.
