SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan 5 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The singer Claudia Abela, a 15-year-old young woman from Mérida, wanted to reach the hearts of the inhabitants of La Palma with a song that she has composed for the thousands of people affected by the natural catastrophe caused by the eruption of the volcano.
Her song ‘Ríos de fuego’, of which she is the author of the lyrics and co-author of the music with the producer from Mérida Ángel Hernández (Vumetro Producciones), is becoming popular on La Palma as a “hymn to hope” after the hard A blow inflicted by the volcano on the inhabitants of the Aridane Valley.
Claudia Abela explained that she has never been to La Palma, but that she felt a deep empathy with those affected when, through the television news, she learned about the shocking volcanic phenomenon that the island has suffered.
“Amazed by the hell that they are going through there, I wanted to help those people who are so many kilometers from where I live and I composed a hymn to hope with the illusion that upon hearing it the people affected by the eruption would disconnect a little from their anguish, give them strength and make their existence more enjoyable “, affirms the young woman from Mérida, who confesses that her dream is to visit La Palma, to be able to interpret the song there and to know first-hand what happened.
She is very moved by the messages of gratitude she has received on social networks, many of them from people affected by the volcano, who tell her that her song has given them strength in these difficult times.
Claudia lives in Mérida and studies singing with the tenor of her city Guillermo Segovia and piano at the Esteban Sánchez Official Conservatory, with the illusion of being a professional singer and actress, for which she is already taking firm steps. Before this musical theme he had already published a love song, ‘Nuestro Destino’, also with his lyrics and music by Ángel Hernández. He is currently studying 4th year of ESO at the Santa Eulalia Institute.
That her way of helping La Palma is through a song is not surprising, as Claudia assures that music is “the companion” of her life, and thinks that, faced with a catastrophe like the one that island is experiencing, the aspect Emotional is also important, so a song “can be magical and have positive effects” on the listener.
For this reason, he wanted to write a letter “that everyone can understand the first time and convey that message that if you run out of your home, the greatest thing you have left is your life, which is the important thing.” “I really want to get to know that island to which I have dedicated this song. And to be able to sing it there would be a dream come true. I imagine myself performing it with a classical orchestra,” says Claudia.
