National Police agents have arrested a 35-year-old man who broke into a house and was surprised by a family who was celebrating Christmas Eve dinner inside.
This individual, allegedly, jumped the three-meter wall that surrounded the house, located on the Carretera General del Sur, on the island of Tenerife.
According to the Police, the family’s surprise was great when they saw the man enter the dining room, after he had jumped over the wall and entered the building through the porch.
Despite being threatened by the individual, the family members removed this person from the property and notified the 091 Room. A National Police patrol, moments later, proceeded to arrest him and transfer him to the police station.
The detainee, after being heard in a statement, was turned over to the competent judicial authority. The actions were carried out by national police officers from the Citizen Security Brigade of the Provincial Police Station of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife National Police.
