The Mayco School, located in La Laguna, has expressed its solidarity with the situation that the island of La Palma has experienced and continues to experience, due to the volcanic eruption that occurred last September.
For this, an event was organized, “Heart for La Palma”, which was held last November, with the aim of raising funds to help families who have seen how the volcano has taken everything away from them.
With the involvement of all the school staff, students and their families, the idea was carried out and successfully carried out, with two of the palm families affected by the situation as beneficiaries of the proceeds.
This past Monday, January 3, Carmen and Mayco, owners of the educational center, traveled to La Palma to deliver what they achieved to Diulys and Magdalena, on behalf of the two families to whom the proceeds of the event were allocated.
