The El Tanque Town Hall announces an investment of half a million euros in the improvement of public lighting and energy efficiency, and in the reform of a key route for connection between Ruigómez and San José de los Llanos: the path of El Guirre. These two performances, budgeted at 534,000 euros, they represent around 14% of the municipal budget.
The Consistory of El Tanque detail that will renew the public lighting in the town center thanks to an investment of 234,000 euros. The mayor, Esther Morales (PSOE), details that the municipal procedures have resulted in obtaining the necessary financing through the Institute for Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDAE) “To modernize and improve the efficiency of the electric service and municipal lighting.”
This initiative, which has already been awarded to the company Imesapi SA through the State Procurement Platform, will serve for replace old lamps with more efficient ones with lower consumption, renew the electrical panels that are more obsolete and incorporate new remote management systems to improve safety and quality of service.
Morales explains that “the project drawn up by the Promyconsfot engineering studio, through the engineer Enrique Yanes, it enjoys all the favorable sectorial reports ”. The works will last for 60 days and they will allow the replacement of more than 130 mercury vapor lamps with new Led lighting. The works are expected to conclude from March this year.
Road investment is possible thanks to financing from the Cabildo de Tenerife. Esther morales explains that the island president, Pedro Martin (PSOE), has attended to our demand and has set in the budget of the maximum insular institution for the year 2022 the figure of 300,000 euros for the rehabilitation of the track El Guirre, which joins the nuclei of Ruigómez and San José de Los Llanos.
