SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 3 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Los Llanos de Aridane City Council has reported that starting this Monday the distribution of solidarity toys that have arrived on the island to be distributed to the families affected by the volcano begins.
The toys have been donations sent from different parts of the Canary Islands and the Peninsula made by companies, donations, NGOs and individuals who “have wanted all the boys and girls of Los Llanos to have their gift on Three Kings Day.”
Families will be able to pick up the toys at the Severo Rodríguez Pavilion from today until Wednesday 5, from 09:00 to 13:30.
The City Council wanted to thank people “for so much solidarity and for thinking about the children of Aridane whose homes have been taken away by the volcano, but never the illusion of enjoying the most special day of the year.”
Finally, we are also grateful for the willingness of the Island Council, to receive the donations received from various points and to channel it to the town councils of the Valley.
