Civil Guard agents belonging to the Airport Security Analysis and Investigation Office of the Reina Sofía Airport (Tenerife South) have conducted proceedings in which they investigate two men as alleged perpetrators of a crime of theft committed outside the building of the terminal.
After learning of the commission of several crimes of theft in the exterior facilities of the Reina Sofía airport, the agents established a device during which they surprised the two men when they were still carrying a briefcase previously stolen from a passenger that contained various documentation and 120 euros cash.
The agents have been able to find out that those investigated acted in a coordinated manner approaching various users of the facilities, both at the bus stop and in other areas, to steal their personal effects, taking advantage of situations of confusion as well as others caused to facilitate the theft.
Pursuant to such events, proceedings have been conducted investigating the alleged perpetrators who have been referred to the Investigating Court of Guardia de Granadilla de Abona.
