New uniforms for Civil Protection volunteers in Puerto de la Cruz

Civil Protection of Cross port launches this Thursday, December 30, 2021 a new uniform for its volunteer members. The Department of Social Law, Volunteering and Inclusive Policies, which directs the mayor Jonás Santana Alonso (PSOE), collaborated to meet “the need for equipment of this corps of volunteers, in addition to giving a new image that reflects the living spirit of our city ”.

Civil Protection of Puerto de la Cruz collaborates in activities of a social, festive, recreational or sports nature, as well as information campaigns that are carried out every year in the municipality. “A commitment and work that they have also been demonstrating throughout the pandemic situation,” he underlines the Portuense Government (PSOE-ACP).

The local government would like to acknowledge the collaboration of the Portuense company Uniformes del Atlántico, and its chief executive officer Alfonso Munoz, “for providing a modern, quality and exclusive uniform for a corps of Civil protection, which thus intends to initiate a renewal and adaptation campaign, pursuing greater and better social work, and an increase in the number of volunteers “.

The mayor of the tourist city attended the presentation of the new uniforms, Marco González (PSOE); the councilor responsible for the Volunteering area, Jonás Santana (PSOE); the head of the Local Police, Francisco Casañas; Alfonso Munoz on behalf of the company Atlantic uniforms, and several volunteers from Civil Protection.

The Portuense Consistory insists on “appreciating the altruistic and voluntary work carried out by the volunteers of the Corps of Civil protection, which with their commitment and determination allow us to guarantee, together with the State Security Forces and Corps in our city, security and protection in the municipality “.
