The Santa Cruz City Council together with the Port Authority and the Zona Centro trade association set up the traditional free parking on the esplanade of the port. “This is a measure that we have been implementing for 5 years, in order to facilitate parking for those who wish to make their purchases in Santa Cruz,” said the mayor, who reported that “this parking, which It will be accessed from the Auditorium, it will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., until January 16, which also facilitates parking during the first days of the Sales campaign ”.
“This car park facilitates the arrival of residents and visitors to the Area of Large Tourist Influence, where 42.8% of the shops of Santa Cruz and three of the commercial areas of the municipality are concentrated,” explained the mayor who recalled that “the Business sales at this time account for 50% of the year ”.
Cabello thanked “the involvement of the Port Authority and the Central Zone, to promote for the fifth consecutive year a historical demand from the commercial sector and from many residents and visitors”, and encouraged citizens to “use this free public parking.”
Finally, he stressed “the importance of planning purchases to avoid crowds, as well as the mandatory use of a mask or hand washing, since now more than ever we must be responsible and act responsibly.”
