The Ministry of Education of the Government of the Canary Islands reports this Wednesday that the non-university education groups quarantined by COVID-19 in the archipelago account for 0.7% just before the Christmas holidays.
Of the nearly 17,000 groups existing in public, subsidized and private centers on the islands, 132 are in confinement due to the detection of a positive for coronavirus among their teachers and / or students.
In addition, the active cases between professors and professors add up to 189, out of more than 31,000 teachers; and 894 male and female students, of more than 335,000 enrolled in the Canary Islands.
