The Candelaria City Council, in coordination with the Los Sabandeños group, TV Canaria and the artistic production companies Oye, Xenox, Multitrack, Amy and Sonopluss Canarias, promoters of the solidarity concert “Unidos por La Palma”, has decided to postpone the event that will be held It had organized for next January 2 in the Plaza de la Patrona de Canarias, in accordance with the health regulations that recommend at level 3 to postpone public shows, since in this case the attendance of more than 1,000 people was expected.
The show had the altruistic collaborations of Lucrecia, Efecto Pasillo, Braulio, Luis Morera, Chago Melián, Ciro Corujo, Pieles, Víctor Estárico, Claudia Álamo, Morocho, Andrea Rodríguez, Israel Martín, María Mérida and Africa Alonso, all of them accompanied by The Sabandeños, who had already prepared their respective repertoires for a long time.
For all this, in the spirit of respecting the work carried out, in addition to not harming any company in the cultural sector, in the line that the Candelaria City Council has carried out throughout the pandemic, it is expected to be able to recover the event when the circumstances are conducive to meeting the objective set, which is none other than raising funds for those affected by the La Palma volcano.
