Three men starred in the kidnapping of a jewelry worker at noon this Monday and, after taking her by force, they forced her to give them the keys to open the door of the business, where they stole different jewels and money that was in the premises, located in the heart of Tacoronte.
The events occurred shortly after 1:00 p.m.. The criminals they allegedly followed up on the employee of the commercial establishment mentioned. When the woman had gotten into her vehicle in the municipal car park run by a well-known supermarket in the area, the thieves took her out by force and put her in a gray Citroën Berlingo with false registration plates, as they presumably correspond to a Seat and were stolen in the South of Tenerife.
Two women’s shoes were left on the ground and tourism was left open. Two citizens alerted the security forces that they had seen how two individuals, dressed in partially fluorescent clothing, as operatives working on public roads, they had detained a woman, while she screamed and asked for help.
Minutes later, in the aforementioned parking lot there were agents of the Civil Guard and the Local Police of Tacoronte when they received the notice that a robbery was taking place, since the alarm of the aforementioned company allegedly went off.
The robbers they took the victim in said car to the vicinity of the jewelry store located on El Durazno street, in the central area of La Estación. With the keys, three individuals, two dressed in workers’ clothing and a third in a white sweatshirt and hood, accessed the business and took the cash that was in the box, as well as different items of value placed in shop windows. the store. These objects were put inside a black garbage bag.
While some citizens were recording with a mobile phone, the robbers ran down Calle El Durazno, since their car was parked approximately 12 meters away from the jewelry store. While the other two robbers took cover, the third individual in the white sweatshirt was the one driving the gray Citroën Berlingo with fake license plates.
The authors fled in the direction of the neighboring municipality of El Sauzal, where, in one of its streets, they abandoned the worker, who did not suffer any type of significant physical injury.
The events are being investigated by the Territorial Team of the Judicial Police of the Civil Guard of Puerto de la Cruz, with the support of their colleagues from the Organic Unit based in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
