The El Sauzal City Council has recently done his traditional distribution of the thematic calendar for the year 2022 for all the homes in the town, which has a population of almost 9,000 inhabitants. The Northern Consistory, which usually distributes the calendar of each year door to door, has focused the 2022 proposal on the slogan The colors of a town. Under this title, the 12 months are accompanied by 13 photographs that cover the municipality from a chromatic point of view. As every year, the Corporation has delivered a copy of the almanac to all households.
For yet another year, the photographer Juanra Álvarez has taken charge of capturing the images that make up this calendar, highlighting, in his own words, “the power of attraction of the light of each season of the year in this peaceful place of Tenerife».
«The months of the year become a journey through the different areas of the municipality with images full of light and color that perfectly represent the beauty of the different areas of El Sauzal. The pages of this calendar lead from the Arenal beach to the Las Calderetas mountain, passing through the nucleus of the main road or the great cliff of La Garañona ”, explains its author.
From the Sauzalero City Council it is highlighted that «Each of the images chosen for the calendar has a predominant color which, in turn, is associated with the emotions evoked by the images selected to accompany the neighbors in 2022 ».
