Promote early vocations in science and technology and the training of students, unemployed and entrepreneurs from Arona in both, as well as supporting local entrepreneurship, digital transformation and economic diversification of small and medium-sized enterprises in the municipality. These are some of the objectives sought by the ARN Innova program, whose agreement for the 2022-2023 period has been reviewed by the mayor of Arona, José Julián Mena; by the Councilor for Economic Promotion, Raquel García, and by the director of the University Employment Agency, Leopoldo Benjumea.
ARN Innova is an initiative of the Arona City Council, in coordination with the University of La Laguna and its General Foundation, which has served more than 1,500 people during 2021, more than a thousand of whom belong to the educational centers of the municipality, one student body who has been offered training in science and technology. To the oldest, over 16 years of age, even in disciplines such as digital design, robotics or programming, subjects that have a significant cost in the market.
