SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec 14 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A total of 5,034,000 Canaries used the urban bus throughout the month of October, which represents an increase of 16.6 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, lower than the national increase of 28.6 percent, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
So far this year the rebound is 21.7 percent in the Islands, an increase higher than the national average, which increases 20.1 percent.
The Canary Islands are in the middle of the ranking of urban bus use in absolute terms by autonomous communities, after Madrid (31.31 million), Catalonia (22.12 million), Andalusia (15.97 million), Valencian Community (9, 82 million), Aragon (8.96 million), Basque Country (6.09 million).
