SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec 14 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A concert held last Tuesday, December 7 at the Habana nightclub, located in the urban area of Adeje, in Tenerife, has caused an outbreak of COVID-19 among the attendees that currently affects a total of 19 people, according to informed the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The Ministry, through the General Directorate of Public Health of the SCS, has made a call for young people who went to said nightlife establishment to contact the free coronavirus service line 900 112 061 to carry out a PCR.
Until today, a total of 19 cases related to this outbreak have been detected, notified on the 11th after the tracking work in the school environment, since some of the confirmed cases are minors. In addition, this outbreak also has ramifications at the university level.

According to this rule, establishments have a duty to collaborate with the health authority, respecting the legal guarantees established in Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on Data Protection and especially what is established in article 5 of the General Regulation Data Protection (art. 17 of this Decree Law).
The Ministry of Health insists on the importance of maintaining security measures to avoid contagion of COVID-19 such as the proper use of a mask, frequent hand hygiene, maintaining interpersonal distance and proper ventilation of closed spaces.
Finally, the Ministry emphasizes that the mask is still mandatory in closed places, while in outdoor spaces it can be dispensed with as long as the minimum distance of 1.5 meters between people can be maintained.
