SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec. 13 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Minister of Science and Innovation, Diana Morant, has assured that all the expenses that the National Geographic Institute (IGN) has had during the eruption of the La Palma volcano will be covered by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, of the That depends on the IGN itself.
This has been stated at a press conference, as a result of several technicians and experts from the National Geographic Institute have denounced that it has not been taken into account in the line of aid approved by the Council of Ministers for research activities related to the eruption. .
In this sense, Diana Morant indicated that the IGN is a national research center that belongs to the Ministry of Transport and, therefore, it was not foreseen that it would be the Ministry of Science and Innovation that would cover the expenses that it had suffered, but its own Ministry .
