The Buenavista del Norte City Council has obtained a grant of 65,450 euros for the modernization of shops in the municipality. The project will have a total cost of 77,000 euros for which the local entity will contribute 11,550 euros. This subsidy has been awarded by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, under the Ministry of Industry. Buenavista del Norte is one of the five Canarian city councils selected in this call.
Vanesa Martín Évora, Councilor for Local Development, celebrated the arrival of this aid, which “Reinforces our commitment to accompany companies in the necessary process of digitization and modernization”. “These subsidies are awarded by competitive competition between municipalities throughout Spain, without distinguishing by population, so obtaining them implies that we have presented a quality project that can meet the needs of companies in the municipality.”
The project includes four lines of action: Buenavista del Norte accessible destination, Commerce and Leisure 3.0, Buenavista del Norte safe destination and the second phase of the commercial directory. Each of the axes involves actions aimed at supporting the competitiveness of retail trade and investment aimed at commercial modernization. Through the Buenavista del Norte axis, an accessible destination, a study of the degree of accessibility of shops will be carried out in order to carry out their conditioning.
