Under the banner of Los Sabandeños, the Plaza de la Patrona de Canarias will host on January 2 the solidarity concert Unidos por La Palma, an initiative that part of the lagoon group and the companies Producciones Oye, Xenox, Multitrack, Amy Producciones and Sonoplus Canarias, and that has the support of the Candelaria City Council, Televisión Canaria and other entities.
The poster was presented yesterday by Mari Brito, Mayor of Candelaria; Elfidio Alonso, director of Los Sabandeños; Francisco Moreno, sole administrator of RTVC, and Cándido López, spokesperson for the producers and companies involved. They agreed that Candelaria is the ideal place from which to centralize the hope and solidarity of all the Canaries inside and outside the Islands.
The show, with which the square recovers its activity after almost two years, will be led by Los Sabandeños, who will feature special collaborations, such as the Cuban singer Lucrecia, along with artists from almost all the Islands, such as Efecto Pasillo, Braulio, Luis Morera, Chago Melián, Ciro Corujo, Pieles, Víctor Estárico, Claudia Álamo, Morocho, Andrea Rodríguez, Israel Martín, María Mérida and Africa Alonso. These will participate altruistically in a gala presented by well-known faces of the Canary Television, which will be in charge of taking the signal live, starting at 9:30 p.m. tomorrow, to all Canarian homes, in which it promises to be the first great music event of 2022.
Tickets to witness the concert cost 20 euros and can be purchased through the platform https://tickety.es/. There is also the possibility of collaborating with Row 0, with the same price.
The Candelaria City Council and the five companies involved have signed an agreement by which they undertake to collaborate with each other so that the celebration of this concert can raise as much money as possible for the victims of the Palmero volcano. Therefore, they invite and request other entities and companies to join the project so that production costs are as low as possible and both the collection of tickets and Row 0 add up to a significant amount for the families of Isla Bonita.
On the other hand, Televisión Canaria guaranteed great coverage of the show, because “there are three reasons that motivate us: La Palma, Los Sabandeños and Candelaria”, launching a message of hope: “Let’s hope that that day the volcano of records has already stopped be active, “said Francisco Moreno.
