SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec. 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The National Police have arrested seven people in the La Laguna ring area for committing different crimes such as threats, attack on a law enforcement officer and sexual abuse, within the security system launched on October 1.
In addition to preventing the commission of criminal offenses, the purpose of these devices is to guarantee compliance with the regulations related to the health situation of covid-19, taking into account the large number of people who come to concentrate in that leisure area of the municipality .
Apart from the seven detainees, the agents have proposed 70 people for administrative sanction, 33 for possession or consumption of narcotic substances on public roads, 28 for not wearing a mask and nine more for different administrative offenses related to minor disturbances of public order.
The actions have been carried out by national police officers from the Citizen Security Brigade of the La Laguna National Police Station.
