SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec. 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the area of Equality and Prevention of Gender Violence, has launched a campaign to promote the dissemination of the ‘Tenerife Violeta Agenda’, a collaborative virtual platform, promoted by the entities of the Insular Network for Gender Equality Tenerife Violeta (RIIGTV), which includes the different activities and training actions, in terms of gender equality, that are developed throughout the island territory.
Under the slogan ‘Gender equality moves here’, this initiative “aims to publicize or remind citizens that they can find Tenerife’s gender equality activities on a single website,” explains the minister, Priscila de León.
In addition, he remembers that “it is the only equality agenda at the regional level that exists” and details that the campaign will be disseminated mainly in digital media and outdoor advertising (newspapers and LED screens).
Through the website of the ‘Agenda Tenerife Violeta’ (www.agenda.tenerifevioleta.es), users can quickly locate (and by date, municipality or type) all those events, acts, seminars, conferences, courses or other gender equality initiatives of interest to citizens.
The ‘Tenerife Violeta Agenda’ was created with the intention of informing and raising awareness of gender equality in society and offering RIIGTV entities an additional broadcast channel to their own.
In addition, it aims to disseminate the activities and give a coordinated and unified image of the equality policies implemented by the network on the island.
