Granadilla de Abona will have a new headquarters for the Local Police

The City Council awarded the drafting of the project for the new Granadilla de Abona Local Police Station. The plot on which its construction is planned has an area of ​​1,221 square meters and is located in the urban area, at the intersection of Avenida Fundador Gonzalo González, on the crossing of the TF-64, with the La Cima passage. The winning architecture team is Functional and the development period is five months.

The mayor, José Domingo Regalado, explains that the purpose is to have functional and modern facilities, for the present and future of the municipality, according to the real needs of Granadilla de Abona, which is among the towns with the most demographic pressure in the country . The new building includes a staff capacity of around 150 people, including police, workers and operators; and a series of dependencies such as basements, ground, first, second and third floors; parking area and garages; workshop and washing areas; offices, archives and warehouses; detainee depot and cell area; Training area; communications room and gym, among other uses.
