The Mayor presented the Christmas Campaign of Santiago del Teide 2021/2022

The Mayor of Santiago del Teide, Emilio Navarro, presented yesterday afternoon, December 1, the Christmas Campaign of Santiago del Teide 2021-2022, which integrates more than 40 acts and activities that will allow you to enjoy the most magical time of the year complying at all times with the established security measures and in accordance with the current global pandemic situation.

In this presentation, which was held at the Chinyero Visitor Center, the Mayor of the municipality, Emilio Navarro, as well as the Councilor for Culture, Sergio Mendoza and the Councilor for Commerce, Krysten Martín, appeared before the media. that “the City Council has worked in a coordinated way with all areas and with great care so that the magic of Christmas floods every corner of the municipality despite the complicated health situation we are experiencing.”

During this appearance, in which the commercial campaign of the municipality “A Closer Christmas” was also presented, the Mayor of Santiago del Teide, Emilio Navarro, assured that “we have to say goodbye to a complicated year and we will do so with a Christmas season in our municipality full of cultural, tradition and religious events, but also with a clear objective focused on the economic, business and tourist revitalization of our municipality; always placing special emphasis on small and medium-sized businesses, hence the commitment that has been made with the organization of this program of events, with which the municipality will be revitalized from the coast to the upper area ”.

For his part, the Councilor for Culture, Sergio Mendoza, added that “Christmas is coming to Santiago del Teide again and, as in the previous year, it will do so with the greatest possible precaution to guarantee that we can have a pleasant time in family in each of the events organized for this, but always keeping in mind the evolution of the pandemic and the current health situation ”.

Finally, the Councilor for Commerce, Krysten Martín, assured that “the commercial campaign is backA Closer Christmas to Santiago del Teide and with it our intention to retain customers who decide and trust to make their purchases in the shops of the municipality, hence, from December 3 to January 5, all people who make their purchases in the participating businesses will be able to win important and different awards that we have prepared in collaboration with ASEMTEIDE and that will have an impact once again on the commercial fabric of Santiago del Teide ”.
