SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov 28 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Shipping companies will have places reserved for all those palm trees who must move urgently to carry out errands, as announced by the president of the Cabildo de La Palma, Mariano H. Zapata.
The president explained that he has been in contact with Naviera Armas and Fred Olsen Express to expose the concern of some palm groves of not being able to move, because there are no places on the boats due to the large influx of passengers that there are to visit the Island, together because the Airport is not 100% operational as a result of the ash from the volcano.
“A fear that they should not have because both companies have indicated that they have a percentage of reserved places, for example, for people who have to go to Tenerife to carry out some treatment, or other urgent matters,” says H. Zapata.
The Cabildo has valued the work carried out by both shipping companies during these two months, “increasing the frequency of journeys, with more ships and allowing us to have connectivity at all times,” he defends.
