SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov 28 (EUROPA PRESS) –

La Palma Airport continues operating this Sunday thanks to the cleaning work that was carried out yesterday to remove the accumulation of volcanic ash that had been deposited on the runway and on the platform.

The Airport again received commercial flights on the afternoon of this Saturday after having been without doing so since the 20th. This has also been possible because the wind has disposed the volcano cloud towards the west-southwest of the Island.

According to Aena, the cleaning work on the platform continues today, in which 32 operations are scheduled: 22 with Tenerife North, 8 with Gran Canaria and 2 with Madrid.
