In his initial assessment before the media, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez expressed his satisfaction for once again feeling in the city all the joy that a celebration of these characteristics holds. “We are delighted to kick off this week’s White Night,” said the mayor. “We needed to carry out activities as important as this one, not only to energize the city center, but also to take the activity to the rest of the neighborhoods of the municipality, as we have done on this occasion,” he added.

“After a year,” he insisted, “we are very happy to experience the first hours of La Laguna’s White Week. The idea is that our neighbors, and whoever visits us, can do their Christmas shopping in our local stores, helping our self-employed and autonomous and companies in La Laguna “.

For her part, the Councilor for Commerce, María José Roca, affirmed that it is “the most important White Night of our life, being the first to be held in this pandemic situation.” “We are responding to a request from the laguneros and the laguneras and also to this special situation that we are experiencing,” he added.

Roca also stressed that the 2021 edition has been structured in such a way that everyone can enjoy the programming complying with the standards required by the current health situation. “We have distributed the activities from Saturday to Saturday, giving everyone the opportunity to live our offer without having to endure crowds. I hope that everyone enjoys these days very much.
