As always when he comes to the Islands, Raphael once again filled the Gran Canaria Arena with a captivating and especially important concert. The same happened with the previous day’s appointment in Tenerife and this, together with yesterday’s in Gran Canaria, made the Archipelago the starting signal for a new tour in which he presents his album Raphael 6.0 published the same Friday and recorded last year live.
With these live shows, Raphael celebrates his six decades of career in a project that includes the songs performed in the concerts of December 19 and 20, 2020 at WiZink Center and registered within the Raphael 6.0 tour, with which the song star celebrates sixty years on stage. Among the songs there were classics like Yo soy que and Como yo te amo; as well as reinterpretations of Living like this is dying of love or Face to face. It should be noted that Manuel Carrasco and Pablo López are the two guest artists in I forgot to live and Treinta y six, respectively.
After Las Palmas, the singer will continue with commitments for the Peninsula and Latin America
Raphael arrived in the Canary Islands last Tuesday to collect, together with Rosario, one of the two distinctions to the Career that they presented at the Dial Awards gala, in Tenerife. Raphael not only has a legion of followers in practically all parts of the world but they span several generations and younger ones are joining it every day. Raphael once again delighted his followers with a review of each of the decades of his artistic life. And he added to his repertoire some new songs that he always wanted to sing but did not record until now.
Raphael celebrates with this tour the music and love that all his fans give him concert after concert. A very special way to relive those two concerts that were the first safe and massive events that were held during the Covid-19 pandemic. After Las Palmas, the singer will continue with his commitments in Zaragoza (December 10), Barcelona (December 11), Madrid (December 16 and 17) and Salamanca (December 19) and then continue through Latin America with stops in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador , Chile, Uruguay and Costa Rica.
Shortly, his followers will be able to enjoy in addition to Raphaelismo, an original documentary series by Movistar + of four episodes that will arrive on the platform in January 2022. It is the first and only documentary with the direct involvement of Raphael himself, his family, RLM and Universal Music Spain.
