Two outbreaks of COVID-19 are registered in La Palma with seven affected

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 25 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has reported two outbreaks of COVID-19 on the island of La Palma, as reported on its official Twitter account.

It is an intrafamily outbreak with three affected people, one of them in hospital admission, and another educational one with four cases.

The Ministry has indicated that the affected people are in isolation and the trace of contacts is continued according to the established protocol.

The La Palma Health Area recalls the importance of maintaining preventive measures against COVID-19 during the La Palma volcano eruption.
