The Tourist Experience Monitor in Natural Spaces, prepared by the consulting firm Vivential Value, shows an Online Reputation Index (iRON) of 9.31, out of a maximum of 10, and places our natural heritage among the most valued tourist experiences in Spain.
The study shows a high geographical and temporal concentration of nature tourism, which is why the adoption of sustainability measures is advocated, especially after the impact of the Covid-19 and the growing influx of visitors.

Sustainability
Among the main challenges identified in this analysis of the nature tourism, highlight those related to the need to reinforce the visibility of many little-known spaces, helping to reduce the high concentration of opinions and visitors observed in some iconic natural resources.
This is confirmed by the fact that 33% of all localized opinions focus on so only 10 of the 125 natural spaces analyzed.
In the same way, a high temporal concentration of opinions is also certified, with a strong seasonality in the months of July, August and September (which accumulate 53% of the total of new opinions issued in the first 10 months of the year) and with a marked influx on weekends and holidays.
Finally, the qualitative analysis of the opinions of 2021 reflects a growing concern of users regarding variables such as the impact of overcrowding experienced in some natural areas, the mobility problems derived from the high influx of private transport or the incivility of some visitors.
This problem does not only affect the natural spaces themselves, but is increasingly having an impact on the rural nuclei located in their areas of influence.
High influx of private transport, this is a joke.
Put in bigger and better car-parks.
No stopping and use the bus is NOT the answer, just bad thinking!
