SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 24 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The deputy of Ciudadanos (Cs), Ricardo Fernández, has said that the accounts “are the same” as in previous years with the exception that they grow due to the arrival of European funds to face the economic crisis derived from the pandemic.
In the first reading debate of the 2022 regional budget, he warned that when the pandemic wave passes, the economic adjustments from the EU will return, so he hopes that the resources will be used well to guarantee economic recovery.
Along these lines, he said that there is investment in education and health and help “those who are experiencing the worst,” but there is a lack of resources for the productive sectors and the real economy, at a time of rising inflation and possible contraction of consumption.
He has said that “another budget is possible” and hopes that there will be “consensus” during the processing of the partial amendments.
