SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 23 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The La Palma Health Area, attached to the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, has enabled the Roberto Rodríguez Estrello Pavilion in Santa Cruz de La Palma as a vaccination point against COVID-19 without prior appointment. This space will be operational from this Wednesday, November 24, from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 15:00.
At this point, people over 70 who were vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna at least six months ago can go to receive the third dose of this drug. Also those who were vaccinated with Janssen at least three months ago will be able to go without an appointment at this point to receive the booster dose. The latter group will be administered the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, as agreed in the Interterritorial Council of the National Health System.
Likewise, at this point, all those people who are in the target population group established for this campaign will be attended, that is, those who are 12 years old (already completed) or more, and who have not received any dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Those who have to receive the second dose of the vaccine may also attend, provided that the waiting time periods established in the vaccination schedule of each laboratory are met.
