The Cabildo de Tenerife has opened the deadline for small establishments on the island to join the program Tenerife voucher, which aims to encourage consumption during the Christmas season in all commercial areas of the island by placing bonds worth 385,000 euros on the market between December 13 and January 16.
The Councilor for Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action of the Cabildo, Carmen Luz Baso, has indicated that this action is intended to stimulate the island’s economic activity, promoting consumption in local commerce and services.
The period for the adhesion of businesses to the program Tenerife voucher, that will be managed by the Fifede Foundation, it will be open until December 5. Registration must be done through the website www.bonotenerife.es, in the form made available to carry out this procedure. Hospitality establishments, retail businesses and service providers may participate in this program.
In this edition of the program, a total of 32,133 consumer vouchers will be activated, with a total value of 385,000 euros. These vouchers will be distributed as follows: 12,854 vouchers for hospitality establishments and 19,279 for retail businesses and service providers.
Each hospitality voucher will have a value of 15 euros, while for retail businesses and service providers it will be 10 euros. In both cases, the Cabildo de Tenerife will pay fifty percent of the value of the voucher, while the other half will correspond to pay it to the consumer.
