SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 22 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands notifies this Monday 191 new cases of COVID-19 with which the total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 100,915 with 2,498 active (-6), of which 22 are admitted to ICU and 181 remain hospitalized (+20).
In the last hours, the death of a 93-year-old woman in Gran Canaria, who suffered from previous pathologies and was in hospital admission, has been reported.
The Accumulated Incidence continues to grow in the Canary Islands and at 7 days it stands at 75 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 131.16 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife has 80 cases with a total of 48,025 accumulated cases and 1,139 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 38,492 accumulated cases, 76 more than the previous day and 956 active.
Lanzarote adds 14 new cases with 7,391 accumulated and 153 epidemiologically active and Fuerteventura has 4,901 accumulated cases, with 18 new cases, and 206 active.
La Palma adds three new positives for which it has 1,189 accumulated and 31 assets. El Hierro does not add new positives, so its accumulated are 469 and its assets are two and La Gomera, without new cases, remains with 447 accumulated and eleven assets.
Until this Monday, a total of 2,351,412 diagnostic tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 3,394 correspond to this Sunday.
