The City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, through the Autonomous Organization of Festivities and Recreational Activities (OAFAR), has opened this Thursday, November 18, and until December 18, the deadline for the receipt of works that will participate in the competition of the poster for Carnival 2022. The rules of the contest will be displayed both on the bulletin board of the municipal electronic headquarters, as well as on the web carnivaldetenerife.com, as of this Thursday for information of those interested.

Any person, artists or designers, individually or as a team, may participate in the contest. Each contestant may only submit a single work with its corresponding motto or title. Failure to comply with this rule will be cause for exclusion from the contest.

The second envelope must contain the duly completed registration form, a photocopy of the ID of the participant or the team, a signed sworn statement indicating that the work is original and unpublished and, in the case of minors, authorization from the parents or legal representatives.

Parties will decide on the admission or inadmission to the contest by resolution of the Presidency, depending on whether or not they meet the requirements established in these bases.

The work will be delivered properly packaged to preserve it until its study and qualification by the jury, with the title or motto of the work, a technical and artistic description of it in writing alluding to its relationship with the expression of the carnival, accompanied by the adaptation labeled, where appropriate, at the final size.

Each contestant’s proposal must be presented in physical and digital format, since failure to comply with these conditions will imply disqualification and discard of the work. The characteristics that both formats must meet are specified in the contest rules.
