SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov 18 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Albia Group has acquired the business of Pompas Fúnebres de Tenerife, Pompas Fúnebres la Soledad and Tanatorio San Miguel, the latter two on the island of Gran Canaria, with the aim of establishing itself in the archipelago.
This has been reported by the company in a statement in which it adds that together with the funeral companies owned by the García Campos family in Tenerife; and for said family and the Gascón and Soria families in Gran Canaria, they have notified this acquisition proposal to the National Commission of Markets and Competition.
These companies, founded in the late 1940s and early 1950s, have achieved growth that has made them a benchmark in the local and state market, ranking as one of the top ten funeral homes in the country by turnover.
In this way, Grupo Albia has highlighted the high quality of its facilities, its extensive experience and professionalism and the commitment of the entire team, which offers a personalized comprehensive funeral service focused on excellence.
THE BUSINESS WILL BECOME PART OF ALBIA
Now, subject to the approval of the CNMC, the group’s business and facilities on the islands will become part of Albia, one of the main operators in the sector at the national level.
For its part, the operation involves the incorporation of nearly 14,000 square meters in nine centers on the islands, in addition to the 253 centers that the group already has throughout the national territory.
Similarly, the acquisition allows the implementation of the Albia Group in the islands through the integration of a historical group in the Canary Islands.
INNOVATION IN THE SERVICES AND PROCESSES OFFERED
However, the Albia Group has highlighted its work for operational excellence and offering a service focused on supporting families, as well as for incorporating innovation into services and processes to offer the best memory in the last goodbye.
In this sense, it has highlighted the recognition of quality, being the first national company certified with the ISO and UNE standards of the sector, which guarantee the excellence and integrity of its services.
Constant innovation makes possible the incorporation of differential services in the sector, such as the recently introduced immersive room technology, which allows the setting of the farewell rooms to be digitally customized.
Finally, the Albia Group also focuses on the accompaniment and emotional support for families who go through this process of loss and for this it has an Emotional Attention Department, which offers families psychological care at all levels to cope with the best possible loss of a loved one.
