The Deputy Mayor of Los Realejos, Adolfo González, chaired the meeting, which was attended by the president of the Canary Islands Committee of Unicef Spain, Rosa Gloria Suárez. Among the attendees, technical staff from the towns of Los Realejos, La Orotava, Tegueste, San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Breña Baja, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Santa Lucía, Puerto del Rosario and La Oliva, as well as of the councils of the islands of Tenerife and Fuerteventura. The Royal Councilor for Childhood, Macarena Hernández (PP), stressed that this meeting highlights the “desire to extend present and future collaborations and participatory actions” among all members of this network.
