Tenerife stars this Monday in the next installment of the television program of La 1 ‘MasterChef Celebrity‘, that It will air at 9:20 p.m. and it will hold its outdoor test at The Ritz-Carlton Abama in Guía de Isora.

The CEO of Tourism of Tenerife, David perez, explained that the platform for promoting the island as a tourist destination and its thriving cuisine has already been used on several occasions in previous editions of the contest, both in the MasterChef and MasterChef Junior editions, “formats that allow giving great visibility to the gastronomy and local products before the millionaire audiences of the program, “he said.

During the ‘MasterChef Celebrity’ test on the island, one team will cook Martín Berasategui’s menu and the other the Ricardo Sanz’s Japanese fusion. They will prepare 30 servings of each of the dishes, which will be tasted by regular customers of this hotel. The best will become the first semifinalists of the edition.

The broadcast of the program takes place exactly in a week in which the gastronomy of Tenerife will show all its qualities in the 23rd edition of San Sebastián Gastronomika, which will take place from November 14 to 17 at the Kursaal Palace in the capital of Donostia. Tenerife attends the appointment with an extensive program based on its landscape and the emotions it generates.

The island will have the largest stand with which it has attended a gastronomic event in its history, which will include a stage for the presentations, as well as a restaurant space and a Wine Tunnel, where the six denominations of origin that operate in the island.
