The amount of the aid amounts to 4,500 euros, which will translate into the acquisition of more products for these social distributions and to directly attack those needs existing in homes under these circumstances. On behalf of the la Caixa Foundation, the director of the CaixaBank office in Realejo Alto, Juan Lorenzo García González, was present.

Olga Jorge valued «not only the altruistic and priceless work that this group of volunteers who give their time has been developing and dedication in favor of others, but to the financial institution and its social work for being at the height of the circumstances and specific needs of families in times of difficulties and exercising their corporate social responsibility “.

For his part, Juan Lorenzo García conveyed CaixaBank’s “double gratitude, on the one hand for allowing us to participate in an initiative like this with a clear social purpose with the Gilda Association as the recipient and the Los Realejos City Council as an intermediary, and for another side to our customers, the soul of La Caixa, which is what makes it possible to carry out actions of this type that are derived or reinvested in their own environment in real social needs ”.
