The coronavirus leaves 96 new cases and two deaths in the Canary Islands

The Ministry of Health of the Canary Islands Government has notified this Sunday 96 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 in the Archipelago.

Thus, the total accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 97,909 with 1,347 assets, of which 20 (+3) are admitted to the ICU and 107 (+4) remain hospitalized.

In the last hours there has been the death of a 48-year-old woman in Tenerife and a 41-year-old man in Gran Canaria. Both had previous pathologies and remained in hospital admission.

By islands, Tenerife Today it adds 43 cases with a total of 46,689 accumulated cases and 603 epidemiologically active cases.

Gran canaria It has 37,386 accumulated cases, 36 more than the previous day and 552 active.

Lanzarote registers three new cases with 7,146 accumulated and 59 active, while Fuerteventura it has 4,648 accumulated cases, with eight new cases, and 98 active cases.

The Palm adds three new positives, so it remains at 1,150 accumulated and 23 assets, and The iron, without new cases, it remains at 468 accumulated and one asset.

La Gomera reports three new positives, so it has 421 accumulated and its assets are 11.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands it is 29.87 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days in the 58.73 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

To date, a total of 2,277,839 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 3,095 correspond to yesterday.
