The Gran Canaria Oswaldo Medina, from the Carhial Teror Trail club, and Dominique Van Mechgelen, Belgian Land Team runner, were proclaimed absolute winners of the queen test of the Doramas Route, where one more year the test organized by the Mountain Club of Firgas allowed the participants to compete and in turn get to know the natural and scenic charms of the municipality.
The dominance of Aruquense Oswaldo Medina was overwhelming in the 37-kilometer race, entering the finish line with a time of three hours, 17 minutes and 46 seconds. Second would enter Estanislao Rivero, from the Keepgoing-CD Arista, with a time of 3h.24.18. The third place went to Octavio León, from the Kinetik Club (3:24:49).
On women, the Belgian woman living in Tenerife Dominique Van Mechgelen also imposed her law. She got enough minutes in all the intermediate stages to her rivals, who could not follow in the wake of this expert runner in this type of tests. His final time, three hours, 49 minutes and 15 seconds. After her came Davinia Déniz (Club Bole Trail Teror), with a time of 4h.11.55, and Myrian Báez, from the Kalandrakas Trail (4h.22.59).
In the 18-kilometer event, with 313 runners, the men were Jesús Tello (1h.27.11), from CD Sporti; Sulaika Hamido won in women (1h.58.40).
