To access a place in Adeje recovery social exclusion criteria valued and weighted by Social Work professionals will be taken into account of the Red Cross, who will be part of an evaluation commission, after receiving all the applications, which must be submitted to the Adeje Municipal Employment Exchange and Social Services, for cases of housing in need of rehabilitation.

The councilor of the area, Manuel Luis Méndez, details that “it is necessary to encourage people with social difficulties to have enough personal and professional tools so that they can independently access the job market. Therefore, strengthening the basic and transversal capacities of each person is vital, because in this way they will acquire professional competencies to place them in better conditions for their professional, personal and social development ”.

The purpose of this project is to train a group of people in training with professional prospects (home renovation). For this, a methodology is used that will combine theory with practice, promoting their labor insertion after passing through the project. This is to reduce long-term unemployment in Adeje, help people to pay Social Security contributions, have access to certain benefits and generate individualized insertion itineraries aimed at older people with socioeconomic difficulties. The goal is to improve your level of employability.

Those who are registered (at least for 6 months) will benefit, those who are in a situation of chronic vulnerability, be under 65 and over 17 years old, appear as a jobseeker in the Municipal Employment Exchange, have exhausted the unemployment benefit level contributory and not being entitled to the subsidy or not being able to opt for unemployment for its maximum duration.
